Policy Balance Hub vs Commission Wizard
Commission Wizard is a commission-reconciliation point tool, and the cheapest credible one we know of. It is the closest thing to a direct like-for-like: it parses carrier statements, splits commission between agents, and gives agents their own login. It is not an agency management system and does not hold client or policy records as a system of record, so agencies typically run it alongside whatever they already use.
Every Commission Wizard fact below is sourced from the vendor's own site or a third-party software directory, as of August 2026. Pricing here is often quote-based — confirm current figures with the vendor.
| Policy Balance Hub | Commission Wizard | |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing model | Flat monthly tiers — not per user | Per plan, user-capped, billed annually |
| Published starting price | $99/mo (Starter) · $199/mo (Professional) · $399/mo (Agency) | $23/mo billed annually (Starter, 3 users, 30 jobs and 10 carriers a month); $39 Professional; $79 Enterprise |
| Contract terms | Month-to-month, cancel anytime, 14-day free trial | Annual billing on the published prices; 14-day free trial, no card required |
| AI statement reconciliation | Built in: carrier statement OCR (PDF/CSV/Excel) with AI-assisted matching on Professional and up | Publishes machine-learning column detection ("our ML learns column patterns automatically") and PDF Vision AI for scanned documents on the Enterprise plan (as of August 2026) |
| Commission handling | Carrier-side commission reconciliation with variance detection, chargeback linking, and aging | Statement parsing, per-agent and per-carrier custom rates, commission splits, payment tracking, and an agent self-service portal from the Professional plan |
| Typically best for | Independent agencies replacing spreadsheet reconciliation | Agencies that want commission reconciliation and agent statements as cheaply as possible, and already have their client data elsewhere |

What Policy Balance Hub does not do
Worth knowing before you switch anything.
No comparative rater
Policy Balance Hub does not quote or rate policies. If real-time comparative rating is your core workflow, an AMS with an integrated rater (like EZLynx) may fit better — or pair one with Policy Balance Hub for reconciliation.
No benefits administration
There is no group-benefits enrollment or benadmin module. Health & life agencies that need one should look at benefits-focused platforms.
No direct carrier download (IVANS) today
Statements arrive by upload, email inbox, or CSV/Excel import recipes — not by IVANS/AL3 download. Import recipes make repeat imports one step, but if AL3 download is a hard requirement, we're not there yet.
See it against your own statements
Start a 14-day trial, upload one real carrier statement, and see what the variance report finds. No card required.
