Live API connections

Authenticate once and Policy Balance Hub pulls data on a schedule, reading only what changed since the last run. Both connections are read-only — nothing is ever written back to your CRM. Available on Professional and up.

Live API sync — read-only, every 15 minutes

This is a real API connection, not an export-and-upload workflow. Create a private app in HubSpot with read access to contacts and deals, paste its token once, and Policy Balance Hub reads your contacts and deals on a schedule — pulling only what changed since the last run. Nothing is ever written back to HubSpot.

Live API sync via OAuth — read-only, every 15 minutes

Connect your Salesforce org through the standard OAuth flow — you authorise it in Salesforce, and Policy Balance Hub never sees a password. From then on it reads your contacts and opportunities on a schedule, pulling only what changed. Nothing is written back to Salesforce.

File-based imports

No API connection exists between Policy Balance Hub and these systems, in either direction. They work from the CSV and XLSX exports your team already runs — mapped once through a guided wizard, then saved as a reusable recipe. Available on every paid plan.

Applied Epic

CSV/XLSX import — no API connection to Applied Epic

Policy Balance Hub does not connect to Applied Epic over an API — no such connection exists on either side. What it does is read the CSV and XLSX exports your team already runs out of Epic, map them once through a guided wizard, and reconcile the result against carrier statements without anyone opening a spreadsheet.

CSV import with a prebuilt AMS360 migration kit

Policy Balance Hub does not connect to Vertafore AMS360 over an API. It ships a prebuilt migration kit instead: two import recipes that already know AMS360's Custom Data Exporter column names, so moving your customers and policies across is a two-file upload rather than a mapping exercise.

Policy Balance Hub complements HawkSoft by handling the work HawkSoft was never designed for: matching carrier commission statements against your policy book, line by line, across every carrier you write. Getting the book in uses a prebuilt kit built around HawkSoft's own Quick Report exports — not an API connection, which does not exist.

Works alongside QuickBooks — CSV in and out, no API connection

QuickBooks is good at general ledger accounting and bad at matching carrier commission statements to policies. Policy Balance Hub fills that gap: reconciliation happens here, and clean data leaves as CSV or Excel for you to post in QuickBooks. There is no QuickBooks API connection — data moves as files, in both directions.
