Policy Balance Hub complements HawkSoft by handling the work HawkSoft was never designed for: matching carrier commission statements against your policy book, line by line, across every carrier you write. Getting the book in uses a prebuilt kit built around HawkSoft's own Quick Report exports — not an API connection, which does not exist.

- The policy import auto-creates any client or carrier it has not seen, so the two files can be uploaded in order and link themselves up

- Match commission lines to policies across every carrier you write, and surface exceptions for review instead of bulk-approving blindly

What it does not do

- There is no live API connection to HawkSoft. The kit reads CSV files you export from Quick Reports or Advanced Reports.
- Nothing is written back to HawkSoft — it stays your system of record for policy management.
- The kit covers clients and policies only. There is no producer import, and commission history is better brought across through statement uploads.
- HawkSoft reports are user-configured layouts, so the kit's column names are the commonly-seen ones and the mapping step adjusts where yours differ.
Frequently asked questions
- Do you support HawkSoft Cloud and HawkSoft 5?
- Yes. Both produce the CSV exports the migration kit reads — run a Quick Report (or an Advanced Report) over your book, include the columns the kit lists, and export via File > Export > Report as CSV. The mapping step handles differences between report layouts.
- How long does setup take?
- Most HawkSoft agencies are reconciling their first month's statements within a few hours of signup. The bulk of the time is a one-time mapping of each carrier's statement format the first time it is imported.
- Is this a live connection to HawkSoft?
- No. It is a one-way CSV import — there is no API connection to HawkSoft in either direction. The only live API connections Policy Balance Hub offers today are to HubSpot and Salesforce.
